Getting Here

By Air

The nearest airports to us are Chambery and Turin (100km), although from Turin there is a tunnel toll of 35 euros. Lyon and Grenoble are about 2½hrs away and Geneva, Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate are about 3hrs away. Chambery is used by a number of airlines BA Cityflyer, Flybe and Jet2. Turin is serviced by BA and Ryanair. All the airports have car rental stations, just remember to book snow chains with the car as you may well need them. Alternatively we can arrange airport transfers for you.

By Road

Many of our guests drive out as we do ourselves and it is a very easy journey albeit rather long. We are about 600 miles from Calais if you take the Autoroutes, and it is in fact motorway all the way bar the last 12km. By Rail

Train travel is another option. There are dedicated Snowtrains from London St-Pancras on Friday, Saturday & Sunday but you need to check which stop is the best to alight at. If you are willing to change trains in Paris (this normally involves a connecting metro from Paris-Gare D'Nord to Gare D'Lyon) then you can get a train right to Modane which is only 7km from Valfrejus, or Chambery which would give you more choice but is a 1hr transfer.
